Join us for a guided walk through Rancho Tajiguas Preserve! This short hike will explore the upland areas, showcasing the historic buildings and unique coastal ecology. You'll also learn about the mission and vision of the preserve from a GCC staff member, offering a deeper connection to this special place.
Native Plant Walk
We’d love to welcome you to the land you’re helping protect.
This August, join us for a relaxed hike through the preserve with Mike Gonella, PhD, Chair of Environmental Horticulture at SBCC and longtime friend of the Gaviota Coast. Mike will guide us through the native plants of the area and share why this land is so special.
There will be 15 spots total, with a suggested donation of $50-100. Please email josie.gonella@gaviotacoastconservancy.org to sign up if you’re interested!
